Forget exotic condiments and specialty foods, this is about a working base of local, good quality foods -- something Zakarian knows well and writes about in his latest cookbook, The Perfect Pantry (Clarkson Potter, October 2014).  Joining Zakarian is Essensia Restaurant & Lounge Executive Chef Julie Frans who is equally committed to worldly cuisine in a vibrant and sophisticated style that utilizes local, organic, sustainable, and seasonal ingredients, including fresh fruits and vegetables from her own on-site garden. Complementing the menu is an exclusive wine list that shares the farm to table point of view.
