Sun. Feb 22
5:30PM-8:30PM

Michelin star-rated and Food Network Iron Chef Marc Forgione, joining us from New York City, comes to the Biltmore Hotel Country Club, Coral Gables as he rounds up some of his fellow colleagues to take pig roasting to a whole new level.

This year, this superior group of professional pig roasters will use their secret arsenal of special spice blends to make your taste buds dance with their treatment of all-natural, farm-raised, exceptionally tender pork, to delight swine lovers with creative pig –centric Tapas, served inside the ballroom while outdoors,  slow roasting whole pigs will render mouth-watering meat being served straight from each chef's own caja china.

Telemundo’s Chef James will be the MC, and Univision’s Raul de Molina will spearhead the culinary judging. In addition, Fernando Desa,  Goya Foods' executive Chef, will delight with a large variety of amazingly delicious side dishes, along with his own Whole Pig creation, and  so will Doreen Colondres, spokesperson for the National Pork Board. These savory samplings will be accompanied by special libations from Frederic Wildman’s portfolio, including Cavicchioli, Luigi Bosca, Folonari Wines and, Pig’s Nose Whisky as well as Zafra Rum Mojitos while up-beat tunes cap off this celebration of swine.  Cafecito and Home Made Dessert will send party goers home!
